Hawaii Business Research Library (based on Maui, but serving the whole State) - This is your best source for secondary information on competitors, industry studies, Maui and Hawaii statistics, mailing lists, and much more. While this is no substitute for your own primary research (speaking to customers, visiting competitors, suppliers, etc.); you will want to prepare by finding out what research has already been done. The SBDC counselor can help you both ask research questions, and interpret the results.
